“The cloud is here to stay.”
So what – everybody knows that. But what you might not know is that the cloud is surprisingly “sticky” – once in, companies only grow their cloud footprints and move more applications and workloads from on-premises to public clouds.
In a recent survey we commissioned, we found that while it might have taken a company six to twelve months to complete their first cloud project, a majority of them have gone on to second and third projects (and more), each deployment taking less time than the last. We didn’t find anyone who had “tried the cloud” but then gone back on-premises.
