At Barracuda we have always strived to make great products that deliver ease of use and affordability. We are constantly evaluating our product portfolio in the context of our overall strategic goals. With that in mind, we have begun a process to focus our resources on our most strategic initiatives and to drive more innovation and faster growth within those product areas.

As such, we have made the difficult decision to discontinue Barracuda Phone System (formerly CudaTel). We do not take this decision lightly. As the industry shifts toward unified communications in the cloud, we decided to discontinue our PBX appliance and focus our resources on our own cloud initiatives around Azure, AWS, and Office 365. We appreciate every Barracuda Phone System customer and the hard work and dedication of our product team over the past 7+ years.

Customer satisfaction is central to everything we do at Barracuda. That said, we are pleased to announce that we are working with RingCentral, the leader in Gartner’s 2015 Magic Quadrant for Unified Communications Worldwide, to provide an alternative for Barracuda Phone System customers. We’re working closely with RingCentral to offer discounted pricing and a utility for seamless migration for all Barracuda Phone System customers. For more information, please visit
