It seems like only yesterday that the Bryan Brothers announced that 2020 was their final season as a professional doubles team. The pair had planned to play a full season schedule and retire after the U.S. Open. Although they weren't able to stick to that schedule, they followed through on their own plans and announced their retirement last week.

Our relationship with Mike and Bob Bryan started years ago, and Mike and Bob stuck with us until the end, wearing our logo, shooting some videos, and spending quality time with our team.

If you think about it, “quality time” is the perfect description for their 25 years in professional tennis. 119 titles, 10 years ranked at No. 1, and, of course, the Bryan Golden Slam. After taking home the gold at the 2012 Olympics, Mike and Bob then went on to win four consecutive Grand Slams: the 2012 U.S. Open, 2013 Australian Open, 2013 French Open, and Wimbledon 2013. No other doubles team has done that before or since.

Making a lasting mark

The numbers are amazing, but what's special about the Bryans is what they've done for the game and the fans. They've elevated doubles play, inspired rivals to work harder, and encouraged new players. They're incredible competitors but still approached the profession with gratitude and humility, and they used their success to help others

Couldn’t imagine a better ending to our last hurrah in Delray Beach. It’s been an absolute honor and we’ll cherish these memories forever. Thanks for the love, @delraybeachopen.

We are so proud to have shared this journey with Bob and Mike, and it's been an honor to have our Barracuda logo on their sleeves. While we will miss watching them play, we are happy for them as they move on to their next adventures.

The world watched for years as the brothers continued to win titles and break records, always with enthusiasm and grace. Mike and Bob Bryan are champions, in tennis and in life. We can't wait to see what they'll take on next.

To keep up with Mike and Bob, follow them on Instagram (Mike here, Bob here) and Twitter. Their official website is here.
